Hyde Hotel London City
London, upper-upscale

Built in 1874 by architect Evans Cronk, 15 Old Bailey, once known as the Spier & Pond Hotel, was the first ever hotel in London to have electric lighting. In the early 1900s it was remodelled into 64 serviced office suites, four meeting rooms, and an executive business lounge. Today, Boscalt seeks to reconvert the asset back to the iconic hotel that it once was.

Location

  • The Hyde Hotel London City is situated at the heart of the global financial hub of the City of London, within walking distance from the offices of global investment banks and law firms, resulting in exceptional corporate demand. The building is also located near St Paul’s Cathedral and other popular attractions such as Covent Garden, the Museum of London, and the Tate Modern.
  • The station next door, Farringdon, is the only place where the London underground, the Thameslink, and the Crossrail (due to open in 24 months) all interlink, making the asset one of the only hotels in London to have direct access and under 30 min away from the major airports of London (Heathrow, Gatwick and Luton Airport).
